NMI provides a self-service sign-up for a sandbox account. To sign-up for an account visit the sign-up page and create an account.

Credentials

When setting up NMI in the dashboard, configure the following credentials, which are obtained from the NMI administrator portal.

Security key

The NMI security key is obtained from the NMI administrator portal under Options -> Settings -> Security keys.

Recurring payments

Although the NMI connection supports open loop payments, it is not enabled by default because it requires the underlying NMI account to have the feature enabled. If your NMI account supports open loop payments, enabling the feature in the dashboard when configuring your credentials is strongly recommended.
